Time Saver During Bad Weather

Dennis Ray, FF/EMT-B from  St. Louis, sent this idea in and with the help of some of my crude Photo Shop I came up with some pictures.
Here is his email:
"I noticed a vehicle at the bottom of an embankment at I-270 and I-70 while driving to work today.  I hesitated calling 911 in case they knew about it, however I did not want to ignore it in case it was recent.  I called the local number for Bridgeton P.D. and it ends up that the vehicle had been there a couple of days.
I’m not sure where the idea started, but some of the fire departments in St. Charles County, Mo. recently started wrapping a length of fire-scene tape around vehicles that they responded to and thought could be sitting for a while.  This helps to let other agencies and drivers know that the vehicle has been checked and it could reduce MVA calls for disabled / abandoned vehicles."

Good idea-pass it along!

Car without tape some in there?  Same car with tape someone has checked it

Car in ditch a new wreck?

Car with tape been taken care of
